<div>WHassup yall. I just joined so this is my first post. My name is Sean and I spin whatever will get a party shakin'. I really dig underground raw funky cuts with a pronounced Afro american vibe from cities like Detroit, Miami, Chicago, etc. I dig on those grey areas of the experimental 80's (and the modern equivalents) where electro/funk/boogie/hiphop/techno/house get blurred.I am deeply rooted in old school funk(have played funk bass for almost 15 years)and really like cuts that mix a live/organic feel with some in your face electronic production/and or beats. I was wondering if anyone on this list is familiar with any Miami based raw ass bass/ghetto tech style stuff(or other non commercial freaked out dance styles) that integrate latin percussion(I.E. timbales, etc.)and mixes a latin vibe with a hard ass ghetto edge? I guess it would not even have to be from Miami, I just figured it is likely that there has been some stuff like that to come out of there. I have been throwing down some cuts with a latin rap/hard funk feel that really go over well, so I am seeking out some other stuff I may have missed.I bet there is some shit like that in LA and I can't even imagine what the heck is going on in Mexico city!!???
